Group chemotherapy bay
Chemotherapy is the use of a specific chemical agent to arrest the progress of or eliminate cancer in the body. It is usually administered by mouth or intravenously through the blood stream.

At the Mid Dakota Cancer Treatment & Research Center, chemotherapy treatment takes place in specially designed areas. Private rooms have beds, phones and televisions for the patient's comfort and a monitor to keep an eye on patients. There is a group chemotherapy area where patients can visit with others or watch television during treatment. Personal DVD players and a selection of popular movies are available to watch during treatment. Adult family members are always welcome.
