Mid Dakota Clinic Road Angels

Monday, June 13
The turnout was big, the weather was beautiful, and both the crowd and participants were enthusiastic. The Bismarck-Mandan Relay for Life raised $241,560.84 on Saturday. Our Mid Dakota Clinic Road Angels came in 8th Place overall with a total of $8,298.50. One of the day’s highlights was Kelsey M., RN fulfilling a promise to shave her head, thanks to the fundraising efforts of family and friends.

Thank you to everyone who came out in support of this annual event. Together, we will continue to work toward the goal set by the American Cancer Society: a world without cancer.

AnneD.jpgThe Bismarck-Mandan Relay for Life is this weekend and we’re up for the challenge! On Thursday afternoon, Anne D., RN promised to shave her head if Tracy K., RN raised $200 by the end of the workday. As you can see, that goal was met. Kelsey M., RN promised to do the same if her family and friends raised $1000. As it turns out, you can watch Kelsey get her head shaved on stage at the Relay for Life which takes place this Saturday from noon to midnight at Century High School in Bismarck.

Everyone is welcome to come and support the teams working for a world without cancer. You can donate to the Mid Dakota Clinic Road Angels or the team of your choice at the Relay for Life website at www.relayforlife.org.
