Dear Mid Dakota Clinic Patient, 
 
Thank you for your continued trust in Mid Dakota Clinic. Here is what to expect from us as we continue to serve your needs.
 

Taking measures to ensure your health:

  • We continue to follow all CDC guidelines, including caring for both well patients and patients with any respiratory illness or symptoms.
  • All of our locations are open. Your doctor will decide on the appropriateness of all visits to ensure your health and the health of all patients. We may contact you via phone, text message or the Patient Portal if we feel your upcoming scheduled care may be unnecessary at this time due to your specific health condition.
  • We will assist you in rescheduling your appointment, including the option of a “telemedicine” visit if appropriate. Certain qualifications apply, but we encourage you to ask about the options the next time you need care, or if you need to reschedule a current visit. Please contact Patient Scheduling at 701.712.4501. We thank you for your understanding as this measure is being done to help ensure your continued health.
  • Pediatric vaccinations are most effective when administered at recommended times. If you have questions about your child’s appointment or vaccination schedule, please contact your doctor’s office.
  • We have established a dedicated location to care for all respiratory patients at our Main Clinic at 401 N. 9th Street. Please call ahead, at 701.712.4145, if you have any respiratory concerns.
  • We continue to screen all visitors at each of our sites. To ensure the health of all patients, we ask that you not be accompanied by anyone else unless necessary. We may ask anyone who isn’t a patient to wait outside, off the premises during the visit if onsite waiting is not required.
  • Testing for COVID-19 is available, but only with a provider’s recommendation based on CDC and state guidelines.  [Update 3-30-20] [Provider may consider testing patients with fever and two additional symptoms including: cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, chills, body aches, or fatigue. Priority testing is available for the following patients:]

    • Patients hospitalized with respiratory illness
    • Those living or working in congregate settings
    • Health care workers
    • Testing for public health investigations and contact tracing
  • Testing requested by an employer will not be performed as it does not qualify under these guidelines. Please advise your employer if this applies to you.
Pregnancy and COVID-19:
  • Our Center for Women physicians are here to help you navigate your pregnancy and women’s care. We are following certain guidelines for OB/GYN care. More details can be found here: CORONAVIRUS GUIDANCE FOR PREGNANCY
