Staffed by Family Medicine, Internal Medicine & Pediatric Doctors The After Hours Clinic is staffed by doctors and a host of support personnel. Our dedicated team will make sure you receive the same level of care and attention that you normally get from your regular doctor.
The After Hours Clinic is not intended to replace your regular doctor. He or she should be your first choice for care whenever possible. However, if you are unable to see your regular doctor, you can be seen in the After Hours Clinic.
We Make it Easy to See the Doctor The After Hours Clinic does not schedule appointments. Patients are typically seen on a first-come, first-served basis determined by the severity of the medical problem. Regrettably, there may be delays for this reason, but please be assured that we will care for you as quickly as possible. We strive for high quality patient care with reduced wait times. Although you can't schedule an appointment, you can help reduce wait times by calling ahead and allowing staff to prepare for your arrival.
Co-pays and fees are similar to those charged for an office visit scheduled during normal clinic hours. All insurance is accepted, although if a referral required, it is your responsibility to obtain the necessary paperwork or authorization. We are happy to submit insurance claims for you and ask that you please bring insurance information with you to assist in this process.
When You Arrive You will be registered as soon as possible. You may be directed to the waiting area until a treatment room is available.
While You Wait Due to the nature of the After Hours Clinic, there may be delays and you may be asked to wait. If your condition significantly changes from when you first arrive, please let the After Hours receptionist or staff members know immediately.
Please remember:
• Seriously ill patients must be treated first • More patients mean more wait time for everyone • Several patients may need the same services at the same time • It takes time to process laboratory tests and X-rays • It may be necessary for us to contact your private physician or a specialist to arrange further care • The key to assuring that you receive the best care is an accurate diagnosis of your condition
