Derek Kane, MD
Mid Dakota Clinic PrimeCare is pleased to welcome Derek Kane, MD back to Bismarck. Dr. Kane joins Dr. William Altringer, Dr. Brandon Helbling, Dr. Steven Johnson, Dr. Gaylord Kavlie and Dr. Mike Schmit in the Surgery department at the 9th & Rosser Main Clinic.
Dr. Kane graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He went on to complete a Master of Science degree in Anatomical Sciences and a Doctor of Medicine degree from Rush University in Chicago, IL. Prior to joining the clinic, Dr. Kane completed a general surgery residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee where he served as Co-Administrative Chief Resident for the 2008-2009 term.
Dr. Kane is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the American Medical Association, and the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons.
